Learning to accept the fact that seasons change and Fall is on our doorstep.
You know when you go outside and you can just feel the Fall in the air. Maybe it's some sort of seasonal 5th sense, or maybe it's in the wind. Regardless, you know it's there even if you can't accept it yet. The seasons don't care how you feel about them, they're going to have to change at some point.
Sure it means going back to school, but it also means seeing all your friends again and getting to tell them how Instagram worthy your Summer was (even if it was just subpar). Also, is it just me or was getting new school supplies pretty exciting. Being able to organize all your new markers and pens and pencils into the perfect spot in your new backpack, only to ignore all of that on the second day and just shove everything in there. Just me? Ok.
It's also the best season to go outside and do stuff like biking. It's not insanely hot out but it's still warm enough that you don't have to wear a heavy jacket. There are no bugs out anymore and you get to enjoy the ever-changing foliage. Or tune into your basic self, put a scarf and a beanie on (even though it's not that cold out yet, but it just makes you feel good OK), and get yourself some sort of latte. Doesn't that sound nice?
Fall is the time of year where you get to live your best life without dying of heat, so yes, even though Winter is right on Fall's heels, you might as well embrace the GOODNESS of Fall while it's here.
Besides, Winter's not that bad if you're not afraid of it.
