KEY PERFORMANCE FACTORS
| LIGHTER WEIGHT
The new Talon E+ EX frame is crafted with ALUXX SL aluminum using hydroforming and gravity casting techniques that helps make it 13% lighter than the previous generation. The new EnergyPak 430 battery and SyncDrive Sport 2 motor are also lighter, giving it an overall weight of just 21.7kg (size medium, without rack). The result is greater agility and confident off-road handling that feels more like a regular hardtail mountain bike. |
SLEEK AND SLIM
The redesigned frameset features a slimmer down tube integrated with a new EnergyPak 430 battery system that’s lightweight and easily removable for external charging. 3D forging techniques and super-smooth welds give it a clean, modern look, and two bottle cage mounts allow you to carry more hydration or add a battery range extender for longer rides. |
SUPER COMMUTER
The Talon E+ EX is loaded with features and accessories that make it ideal for trekking or commuting. The RideControl Dash 2 controller is used to power on the bike and adjust support levels while you ride. Using the RideControl App, you can custom tune the motor output to optimize range. Also new is a Find My Bike feature using integrated Apple AirTag functionality. And it comes with a rear carrier, fenders, a kickstand, and integrated lights. |

How far can I expect to ride on a single battery charge?
The range for a single battery charge can vary greatly depending on conditions such as the combined weight of the rider and cargo; wind resistance; tire pressure and tread profile; terrain and elevation changes; road or trail surface; outdoor temperature; maintenance of the E-Bike; and the condition of the battery.
The bar below gives an approximate range. Conditions are categorized as extreme, good and ideal. Extreme conditions typically occur when riding with a heavy load, strong headwinds or excessive climbs.

SMART ASSISTSix smart sensors precisely measure your power input, speed and cadence, as well as the slope of the terrain you’re riding on, to provide just the right amount of support for a natural, powerful riding experience. This helps optimize energy efficiency for your battery system and you.
ENERGYPAK SMART 430The battery system is cleanly integrated within the down tube of the frame. Continuous communication between the battery and charger provides fast charging. Batteries can charge up to 80 percent in just over 2 hours.
ENERGYPAK PLUSOption to carry an EnergyPak Plus range extender, which provides 250Wh of additional power.
RIDECONTROL DASH 2This updated control unit is cleanly integrated with the handlebar/grip featuring ergonomic buttons to control support modes including Smart Assist. The high-resolution color screen has an anti-fog design that displays range, battery level and support mode, onboard navigation, speed and distance, and incoming calls.
RIDECONTROL APPOur updated App expands the existing customization options for your SyncDrive motor. Now you can choose exactly how you want the system to perform. Use the app to adjust from the battery-saving Eco mode all the way up to Power mode, and collect all relevant ride metrics during your activity.
GIANT E-LOCK SYSTEMAllows you to lock and unlock your E-bike using the RideControl App or by entering a PIN code on the controller. Once locked, pedaling assistance is blocked and the display shows the E-bike in lock status. If someone attempts to move the bike, the alarm is triggered.
