DESCRIPTION
Vantum, sounds pretty futuristic right? Well guess what? We’re living in the future, get on a board that’s built for these futuristic times. The Vantum is engineered to be at home on groomers, side hits, in the pow, hell even in the park if you’re feeling sporty. Vantum is meant to be ridden in a traditional length and features RIDE’s directional standard camber, keeping the board stable and ready for takeoff, landing, and everything in between. The new Urethane Channel (technology from the future) uses milled out sections of the core that are then filled with RIDE’s urethane material. Similar to the urethane used in the Slimewalls. Taking tech from the past and pushing it into the future. This Urethane Channels is focused on the nose of the board, keeping the board more stable in the choppiest conditions. No more nose flapping around when you’re charging through the chop. The Vantum uses a tapered quadratic sidecut with the Roll-In Construction to be quick edge to edge, float better in deep snow, and nimble enough to evade the yellow jackets looking to take your pass for launching off that side hit that’s finally shaped just right. Get away from the past and into the future with the all-new Vantum.

TECHNOLOGY
Standard Camber Profile:A little bit of rise, medium amount of traditional camber. |
Directional Shape:Designed to be ridden in one direction. More nose than tail, set back stance, and a sidecut to match. Can you still ride it switch? Yeah, of course. Is it going to be as good riding switch all day long? Probably not. |
Quadratic:Blending of three radii to improve turn initiation/exit while providing the best grip possible. This design is uniquely formulated for each model based on its shape and riding style. |
Slimewalls™:RIDE’s exclusive Slimewalls™ are forgiving and ductile, absorbing impacts rather than defending against them. Just like your skate wheels, the urethane in Slimewalls™ smoothes the interaction with the snow, wood or metal surfaces you may ride on. On top of all that, these babies are virtually indestructible, the most durable sidewalls in snowboarding. |
Single Impact Plates Laminates:Added underneath each binding area to improve compressive strength and prevent board breaks where it matters most. Offered in two levels, Single and Double. |
Roll-In Construction:Unique 3D structure built around our urethane Slimewall® sidewalls. Designed to increase overall board strength, prevent topsheet chipping, and reduce weight. Hybrid Glass Fiberglass:Triaxial on top, biaxial on base; balanced torsional flex and stiffness for better response with speed. |
Sintered 4000 Base:High-end sintered 4000 Ptex base material that is more durable, harder and faster than extruded. |
Stone Ground Base:The absolute best way to finish building a snowboard. Nice and flat base, no weird bumps or extra material. Stone ground is the way to go, ask your local tune shop. |
Performance™ Core:High strength Aspen is combined with Bamboo and lightweight Paulownia wood to provide the perfect balance of strong and light.
Standard Top Sheet Edges:Durable Urethane topsheet material with graphics only RIDE can bring you. |
Wend® Meadowfoam Biodegradable Wax:The Meadowfoam® factory wax we use is made from wildflower seeds native to California and Oregon. All WEND® Meadowfoam® snow wax blends are non-toxic and completely biodegradable |
30% Recycled Steel Edges:Everyone knows about recycling, but nobody thinks about it when it comes to snowboard edges. Hell, do people even think about their snowboard edges? Luckily for you we’re thinking of both. Edges on RIDE Snowboards contain 30% recycled materials. That means part of your snowboard could be made out of a car, an airplane, a building, who knows. Anything steel and recycled could turn into a snowboard edge |
FSC® Certified Paper Packaging:What does this mean for snowboard packaging? Well how about those stickers on the base that are a pain in the ass to peel off? Yup, made with FSC® Certified Materials. Boxes the boards are shipped in? Also FCS® Certified. |
44% Solar Production Energy:44% and rising! We’re working with our factories to utilize solar energy when producing RIDE products. We’re currently at using 44% sustainable solar energy, with plans in the works to grow that number in the coming years. |

RIDE Snowboard Technology:Engineered by snowboarders, for the most demanding riders on the planet. With over 30 years of experience in building high-quality products. |
